NEW!!! Crime Stoppers Art Contest
Crime Stoppers, I CARE and WAFB Channel 9 have teamed up to present the 2009 Crime Stoppers Art Contest. Each area high school was given the opportunity to enter art work. During the month of April each school will be featured on the 9News This Morning Show by Anchor Matt Williams. The public will be able to go to WAFB.com and vote on the entries from that school until midnight of the day that the school's artwork is featured. The student winner from each school will win a $100 U.S. Savings Bond.
On Wednesday, April 29 all school winners will be featured again for the public to decide on an overall winner of the contest. The art department of the overall winning school will receive $500 worth of art supplies from Co-Op Bookstore.
